The Lake Metigoshe area is so near and dear to my heart. I was SO EXCITED to be able to do a wedding up there. Straight north of Bottineau ND you'll feel like you've entered an enchanted woodland. The preparation and reception areas were held at The Lakehouse. We headed just a short drive over to the A-frame chapel for outdoor photos and the ceremony. The morning was filled with prep time and special moments between parents and their soon-to-be married kids. Gifts, hugs, and tears were all exchanged. Ashley + Brandon had a special First Look that included a Wedding Day Scent that they had picked out for each other.

During the ceremony, Ashley + Brandon were given a toolbox. Each bridal party and family member brought them a tool and had a moment with them to give some encouragement and advice.  Before exchanging rings, Ashley + Brandon passed their rings around to family members. Each family member held the rings and said a prayer for the bride and groom before they exchanged them with each other.

The reception was beautifully decorated at The Lakehouse and guests were allowed to step out onto the upper deck to take in the view of the lake.
